At AgriEID, we take pride in delivering high-quality, professional-grade equipment designed to support livestock producers in real-world operating environments. Our mission is to provide reliable tools at a fair price without compromising on quality or integrity.
To support this, we operate under a strict returns and warranty policy designed to set clear expectations for all purchases made through our website or authorised distributors, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
1. No Refunds or Exchanges – All Sales Are Final Unless Required by Law
All purchases are final. AgriEID does not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, accidental purchases, incorrect product selection, or buyer’s remorse.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product specifications, compatibility, and intended use prior to purchase to ensure the product is suitable for their requirements.
Examples of non-qualifying reasons for return include (but are not limited to):
- The product does not meet personal expectations
- Preference for a similar or competing product
- The product is no longer required or will not be used
- The product was purchased in error or without reviewing specifications
Where a product is functioning as intended but does not suit a customer’s preferred workflow, operational requirements, software expectations, or business processes, this is considered a change of mind and is not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
This policy allows us to maintain fair and sustainable pricing while continuing to provide direct access to high-performance, commercial-grade livestock management technology.
2. Legal Entitlements Under Consumer Law
AgriEID complies with all applicable consumer protection laws.
If a product is proven to be faulty, not as described, or damaged in transit prior to delivery, you may be entitled to a remedy under applicable law. Remedies may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature and extent of the issue.
Qualifying issues include:
- A verified manufacturing defect affecting normal product function
- Damage occurring during shipping that renders the product inoperable
This does not include issues arising from misuse, incorrect installation, modification, failure to follow product instructions, or any software preferences, workflow suitability concerns, or compatibility with a customer’s specific operational requirements where the product is otherwise functioning as intended.
3. How to Lodge a Warranty Claim – Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Provide Supporting Evidence (Photos and Video Required)
- Clear images and video of the defect or issue
- Full view of the product and affected areas
- Product serial number (if available)
- Proof of order (e.g., Order # 06812)
- Photos of packaging if damage occurred in transit
Step 2: Complete the Official AgriEID Warranty Claim Form
We recommend inspecting and testing your product immediately upon receipt to ensure everything is functioning as expected.
You must request and submit our Warranty Claim Form here in line with our Warranty policy here. Email info@agrieid.com to begin the process. Incomplete claims will not be processed.
Failure to follow the AgriEID warranty claim process or provide the required supporting information may result in delays or rejection of the claim at AgriEID’s discretion
4. Evaluation Process and Timeframe for Resolution
Our support team will assess your completed claim within 10–14 business days of receiving complete documentation. If approved, we will proceed with one of the following remedies:
- Repair: Our preferred solution if the issue can be resolved quickly and reliably
- Replacement: A new or equivalent unit if a repair is not viable
- Refund: Issued only if neither repair nor replacement is available or reasonable
AgriEID reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy based on the nature of the issue and product condition.
Please allow up to 30 days from claim approval for resolution and delivery.
5. Return Shipping and Customer Responsibility
If a return is authorized, the customer is responsible for securely packaging the item and covering the cost of return shipping, unless the fault was due to an AgriEID error or verified shipping damage.
Shipping will only be reimbursed in the following cases:
- Item is proven defective on arrival
- Wrong item sent by AgriEID
- Item was damaged during shipping with proper evidence provided
If a returned product is found not to have a manufacturing defect, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable assessment fees.
6. Disputes and Chargebacks
By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
Customers agree to contact AgriEID directly to resolve any issue prior to initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Submission of a chargeback or dispute without first following the AgriEID warranty claim process may be considered a breach of these terms.
Where a dispute is initiated for a transaction that does not meet the criteria outlined in this policy (including but not limited to change of mind, software dissatisfaction, or preference-based reasons), AgriEID reserves the right to provide this policy, order records, product documentation, and all correspondence as evidence.
AgriEID reserves the right to recover any costs associated with invalid or disputed claims, including administrative fees, technician time, and payment processing penalties, to the extent permitted by law.
